Generator Interlock Kit

Use your house wiring with a generator when the electric utility power fails

National Electrical Code requires a system in place that prevents an emergency generator from feeding back into the utility line.

A generator interlock will:

only allow the the generator breaker to be switched on if the main breaker is off
not allow the main breaker to be turned on unless the generator breaker is off

Kits include top and bottom interlock plates, hardware, warning stickers, generator operation instructions, drill bit, and installation instructions.

Wireless Utility Power-On Alarm
With a generator wired directly into your house, it's hard to tell when the utility power comes back on. The VD-1 will alert you when utility power returns via a wireless receiver.
